Please take a look at the following things to think about when coming to Gertrude’s Writing Room.
Parking
Free parking is located in Willistead Park directly in front of The Stable Yard.
Accessibility
We are a fully accessible location.
Class/Workshop Logistics – Food & Beverages
Gertrude’s Writing Room is happy to provides coffee, tea, water, soda and light snacks during classes and some workshops. During one or multiple day workshops, there will be a break for meals, and participants can either bring their own lunch or a meal(s) will be provided. Food/allergy concerns will be given during registration.
Class Arrival
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before class to choose your seat and prepare your work, beverage/snacks.
Tables & Seating
There is one large table for classes and workshops. There are also comfy chairs for reading and writing!
Bathroom
Bathrooms are available to all. (There is more than one!) Fully accessible.
Community Board
We are happy to post event flyers, business cards and information regarding the incredible creative things that are happening in Windsor/Essex County in the Gertrude’s Writing Room space! Be sure to check the board for information on events and fun times.
Swag & Goods
Gertrude’s Writing Room also sells t-shirts, pens, journals, lanyards, stickers and more! All swag and goodies can be purchased and paid via cash or credit at Gertrude’s Writing Room.
